CIN/FIN Network (Otfried-Müller-Str.)
the network works with a DHCP and you can connect your notebook over a networkcable to the internet/network. You can use any network socket!
Your network Properties set to "Obtein an IP address automatically", that is the default setting.
MEDPSYCH Network (Silcherstr.)
We have two different networks.
- DMZ network, it is open for erverybody (automatic DHCP), you can connect your laptop over network cable without to register your MAC address!
- But this network dont have access to our server (fileserver MEDPSYCH/CIN, Cluster, Printer, Wiki,etc.) but access to the license server from the university
- Internal network, you have only access to this network if your MAC address are registered.
- In this network you have full access to all server and services!
If you wanted to have internal network access, please send
- name
- room number
- MAC address
to support-mp[at]medizin.uni-tuebingen.de.
If the MAC address is registered, you can use any network socket!
